God I fucking love this song. And this slideshow, oh my, this slideshow. I fucking love The Beatles.
And I think the song rings true for a lot of us. Everyday on campus I stumble upon the likes of a girl I haven’t met or seen before, and before thinking, “Wow, I can’t wait to be friends with this girl,” I jump straight to, “Wow, I wonder what it would be like if she were my girlfriend.” I think that I can speak for other people (maybe it’s generally only a guy thing?) by saying that I’m not the only one who feels this way.
Whether or not you believe in it, the idea of ‘love at first sight’ is super intriguing, and it probably plays a larger role in your life than you realize.
i was just talking about this with hannah the other day. i fall in love with at least one stranger every day. actually. hannah put it as: “my heart belongs to people whose names i don’t know.” its true. and the sad thing is.. i bet an overwhelming majority of those people i fall for i would i end up not liking in the end if i actually spoke to them. its nice to have the mystery
also i fucking LOVE THIS SONG and love the beatles also wow so much. this was one of the first songs i really knew by them because when i was like, 3? i think, i was realllly young.. my dad performed in one of those beatlemania festival things and his band chose this song to play and he was doing lead vocals.. i remember sitting in my parents bedroom listening to him practice. memoriesmemoriesmemories
