its true and it actually translates into photo as an art.. im only saying this because it was brought up in my photo class and a friend’s photo class that the trends in photography are so cliche now. all those images that everyone always reblogs are exactly what we as new generation photographers are supposed to stray away from. my professor was talking about being super careful with shallow depth of field because its so popular and my friends professor criticized her work because it looked like it came from an urban outfitters catalog. but everything comes from an urban outfitters catalog these days. everything about trends is frustrating, and we’re all victims of the media and we all follow the trends like they want us to. even through our art
